Yo Mets Falls In Semi's

The Keystone Killers avenged a regular season loss, and triumphed 34-22 over Yo Mets in the second round of the Division II playoffs. Yo Mets scored the first touchdown of the game on a Steve Horton to Alex Friedman touchdown pass, but the Killers quickly came back and remained in the lead the rest of the way. Yo Mets had a chance down six points late in the game, but a Kian Dowlatshahi interception was called off thanks to Dan Knaus' idiodic offsides penalty. The Killers smartly milked the clock and added another touchdown, giving them the 12-point win.

Defensive Stop, 1st-Round Win

In a first round playoff match-up, Panty Raider quarterback Burton Rankie ran over and around the Yo Mets defense all afternoon long. Down 8 points with less than a minute to go, Rankie faced a fourth and goal, and the Panty Raiders' last chance to force overtime. Rankie's sprint for the endzone was stopped cold by cornerback Alex Friedman at the two yard line, forcing a turnover on downs and sealing Yo Mets' 41-33 victory. The offensive star of the game was once again quarterback Steve Horton, who threw for five touchdowns and ran for another, without committing a single turnover.

MMM... BEEFY

Long-snapper-turned-kicker Tom Evans proved himself to be an invaluable part of the Yo Mets offense. In addition to his contributions on the offensive line and as a short-yardage receiver, he was a very respectable 15/19 on PAT conversions and connected on his only field goal attempt.
